He shrugs at that as they climb the stairs, but he's smiling all the same, pleased with her comment. It's not something he's ever given much thought to, especially with the disaster Crossroads had been for so long until Spencer had decided to clean it up, but he'd always been pretty proud of his apartment and the bakery had turned out beautifully. He can only hope the nursery will be the same.

It's not a huge space, but it's enough and when he opens the door, he can already see it.

"Spencer really likes this tree bookshelf he found online," he says. "He's probably shown it to you a dozen times already, but I'm thinking it'll go against that back wall there. Kind of the biggest piece in the room. The thing that will... you know, that people will see first."
