"Are you trying to furnish our entire home?" Joel asks when he finally catches up to Les. He's teasing, of course, but he's also incredibly overwhelmed by how generous people have been. Had he had his way, he would have insisted no one bring anything for them, just gifts for Erin, but his mother and sister had done the planning and he's had no control over everything.
