"We're practically unicorns, as far as they're concerned," Spencer answers with a playful smirk. "Or mermen, as it were." They haven't had much time to really process or discuss what had happened during the spell, though he supposes there isn't much to sift through when it comes to their story. He knows that some people's personalities had changed for the worse--Coop and April, he thinks, must be struggling with what had occurred--but at this point, it comes as absolutely no surprise that he and Joel had found love in an entirely different sort of life. His feelings for his husband are just as strong in this world as they'd been in that one, and it only makes him that much prouder of how unbreakable their bond is. How unbreakable it'll always be.
He would have to say, though, that the second chance at a first kiss is something he is eternally grateful for. There's nothing about their relationship that Spencer would want to change, everything they've been through has only ever served to make them stronger; but to share such a magical moment in that carriage, to be free from fear that hadn't been caused by pain, is exactly how their first kiss should have been. It's how it would have been if their date hadn't been interrupted, if Mark hadn't walked into this house and--
There's no sense going down that road right now, he thinks with a slight shake of his head, pushing those thoughts aside and smiling before leaning in to catch Joel's lips for another quick kiss. He doesn't care that this room is full of people who are cooing at them--he can see it out of the corner of his eye--because aside from Erin, his husband is the most important person here, as always. They're in their own home, they're together, they're exactly where they're supposed to be and if the spell has taught him anything, it's what he already knows: everywhere he goes, he can count on Joel to be everything he needs.
"Well, it is our home," Spencer counters, arching a brow as he nods toward the entrance to the hallway. There's a liquor cabinet in the dining room that's replaced the one that had fallen in October, but Spencer had seen to it that they set one up in the library, too. "I know we can't abandon Erin but at least we know the option's there, right? Two more months and our positions will be reversed, she can drink all she likes but how much alcohol will we really be consuming when we have our baby to care for?" He grins wider at the thought because it's not as if it would be a great sacrifice, giving up a regular glass of whiskey for getting to count their child's fingers and toes every single night. "It's only fair. Besides, Prince Charming gets to do whatever he wants, isn't that how it works?"
