Coop tries to laugh at her joke, he really does, but he gets the feeling that April isn't really all too convinced that there's anything to laugh about when it comes to the spell. He doesn't know what she'd seen, what she'd done, doesn't know what she'd become, but Coop knows her well enough to imagine that she hadn't lived out some dreamlike Barbie Princess life.
"None of the above," he answers, gesturing vaguely at his bruised eye. "Well, wizard's close enough. Evil sorcerer, maybe a little more specific. If you'd guessed evil sorcerer who apparently had no problem with borderline sexual assault, you'd be right on the money."
Talking about it makes him extremely uncomfortable because in some ways, it's close to home. He's got no problem inviting many different people in his bed, and he knows that a lot of people might not understand how someone could do that without being a total douche, but Coop has worked hard to make sure that nobody gets hurt in the process. He'd hurt people under that spell, he'd used people like Davin, and Coop hates that he'd become exactly what he's always tried not to be.
"It's just all so fucked up," he groans. "I mean, what, Spencer and Joel get to have a do-over on their already stupidly perfect romance, but I just get to remember what an asshole I was to my friends? Christ, hell of a way to spend two weeks." Coop takes a breath, willing himself to calm down because he's at a goddamn baby shower, surrounded by people who could easily be watching him come dangerously close to making a scene.
He rolls his shoulders, shoving his hands in his pockets and smiling tightly at April. "What about you? Hope you had better luck than I did."
