"I've never been," he says, which he's sure doesn't come as much of a surprise. He's never been anywhere. New Brunswick is still home in its way, now there's Siren Cove and besides the cruise and the small town where he and Spencer went to get married, he's never done much traveling at all.

"That would be okay?" he asks. "No one would mind if we were to use it?" He'll have to ask Spencer, of course, but he thinks he'd quite like the idea of a weekend away like that. Somewhere he's never been.
