"It's kind of crazy to think how much things are still changing," Joel agrees. In the next year they're going to have a baby. He or she will be here within two months and this time next year the baby won't be quite a baby anymore.

"And all these people," he says. "The last time I was willingly at a party this large thrown for myself I think I was probably six years old."
