"Oh, no. No magic," he says, shaking his head, but it sort of pleases him to think she might feel that way. It means he and Spencer have done exactly what they wanted in making the nursery and it isn't as if Joel is ashamed of what he is -- not really, not anymore -- but with Spencer he tries to live as normally as possible. To include him in everything and that means he doesn't use his magic as often as he might otherwise. "It's just... a lot of hard work between the two of us."
