"Brick through store window is not okay, you get that, right?" She has to say it, but then he says he's worried about Spencer and she actually turns to look at the Waters house, then he continues. "But- But they're both nice. They're both so nice, why- why would somebody hurt them?" It made no sense to her.

But then he says that he's being watched, and she can't help it. She can't help the way all of the color just sort of leeches from her face. "How do you know you're being watched?" Her voice is odd, almost strained.
