"I got yelled at for not waiting for them to arrive," he admits as he drops down into a chair and rests his forehead against his good hand. He knows he deserved it, he knows things could have turned out a lot worse, but if he'd had to go back and do it all over again, he knows he still wouldn't wait. He'd do anything to keep Spencer safe.
