He collects the books she's requested, the ones he'd been holding onto until the next time he stopped by her place to bring some books, but her message sounds like she'd like to have them right away. He puts them in a box, then rummages through the shop until he finds a few others he thinks she might be interested in. Recommendations has never been something he's good at, but he tries anyway for a few select people and although he adds the books reluctantly, he still goes already with it.

Tucking the box under his arm, he locks the shop and flips the sign over to let people know when he'll be back. He's not very busy at the best of times, he doubts anyone's going to come by anyway, and so he makes the walk to the house with the books. As he walks, he extracts his phone from his pocket, hitting the number for Lou's phone to let her know he's on his way.

"Hi," he says. "On my way with the books you asked for and some extras. Uh... I'll see you soon."

Even on the phone he has problems and he sighs as he closes the phone and shoves it back into his pocket. The walk doesn't take him long and he shifts awkward on the doorstep before knocking once.
